Cascade Hasson Sotheby’s International Realty was a proud sponsor of the first annual Red Carpet Gala benefiting The Giving Plate, a nonprofit that provides hunger-relief programs in Bend, OR. The gala was a success and raised a total of $140,985. Since opening in 2010, The Giving Plate has helped 76,000 families with a week’s worth of food, equating to 5.75 million pounds of food. In 2022, the nonprofit purchased a new facility to better serve the need in the community and replace the typical food bank environment with a grocery store experience. The facility is scheduled to open in Spring 2023.
